Overview
The Bestop 30 inch spare tire cover in Spice, part number 61030-37, is a heavy-duty fabric cover for spare tires in the 30 to 32 inch range. Bestop designs it to shield the tire from salt, road grime and UV rays, and the spice color is coordinated with its soft tops.
The cover carries no logos, so the look stays plain. It suits owners who want a clean spare cover in a warm tone.
Key features
- Spice color coordinated with Bestop soft tops
- Heavy-duty construction, as described
- Guards against salt, road grime and UV rays
- Sized for tires in the 30 to 32 inch range
Caring for the cover
A fabric spare cover spends most of its life exposed to road spray, grit and sun, so a little routine care goes a long way. After trail or winter driving, brush off mud and salt before it dries. Rinse the cover with plain water and let it air dry fully. Storing it damp invites mildew and staining, which can be hard to remove once it sets.
Look over the seams and the edges where the cover meets the tire every few months. Frayed stitching or thin spots usually show up first near the tread contact area, where abrasion is heaviest. Replacing the cover early keeps the spare protected from UV and moisture.
- Brush off road salt and mud after trips
- Let the cover dry completely before storing
- Check seams and edges for fraying
