- Introduced by the brand over 18 years ago, per AO Coolers
Cargo and tailgate use
Soft-sided coolers ride well in a truck bed or cargo area when they are strapped or wedged so they do not slide. A cooler that shifts can split seams or spill contents, so use any tie points the cooler has and keep heavy items low.
Red canvas shows dirt and road grime quickly. Brush loose dirt off after a trip and spot-clean with a soft brush and mild soap. Dry it completely in open air, then store it flat or half-open to avoid trapped moisture.
Trail use puts more stress on handles and corners, so check those areas after each outing and replace worn straps before they fail.
- Secure the cooler before driving off-road
- Keep sharp tools and rocks away from the canvas
- Inspect lid closures for wear
