Overview
The Rugged Ridge 13711.15 is a black front upper soft door for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK), in both two-door and Unlimited four-door models. It replaces the factory steel upper door with a soft-style door that keeps weather out while keeping the open-air feel of the Jeep.
The outer skin is impact-resistant black thermoplastic ABS with enhanced UV protection, and it has a matte finish that can be painted to match the body. The frame is a powder-coated steel structure. A zippered window and rubber weather stripping seal the door against moisture and reduce wind noise, and the textured inner panel has a grab handle and a storage pocket.

Before you swap doors
A soft upper door changes how the Jeep handles weather and noise, so consider how you drive before you install it. The zippered window and rubber weather stripping keep rain and wind out, but they work best when the seals are clean and the window closes evenly. Check the seal contact at each corner after installation, and adjust the latch and hinge alignment if you see gaps. Good alignment also reduces rattles on rough roads.
Soft doors need regular care. Wipe the weather stripping and zipper track with mild soap and water, then dry them before storing the Jeep. Keep zipper teeth free of grit, which can cause the window to snag. Because the outer skin has a matte finish that can be painted, a light touch-up is possible if the finish dulls, but test any paint on a small area first.
Consider related parts that often wear at the same time. Mirror mounts, door hinge bolts and lower door seals see the same stress, and inspecting them while the old door is off saves a second job later.

Vehicle fitment
The door fits 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK) two-door and Unlimited four-door models. It covers the full JK generation of those years.
It does not fit the TJ, LJ or YJ Wrangler, the JL Wrangler or the Gladiator, and it is not compatible with factory half doors. Confirm fit for your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
The OE-style hinges and lockable paddle handle keep the factory look, and the mounts take either the original mirror or a Rugged Ridge replacement. It interchanges with the factory steel door without body modification, so plan the mirror before the door goes on.
