Overview
The Rigid Industries RIG545613 is a 6.7 inch square Q Series Pro Combo LED driving light with a white finish and a clear lens. It is a universal fit light, not tied to one make, model or year, so the mounting position is up to the installer.
The Q-Series is built for harsh working sites, with mining, agriculture, construction, and oil and gas use in mind. The housing uses a double-pass TIG-welded stainless steel bracket with a vibration isolator. This white version has a UV-resistant powder coat with a chromate conversion coating for corrosion resistance, which also suits marine use or any setting where a color other than black is wanted.

Mounting a heavy-duty driving light
A driving light is only as sturdy as the surface it is bolted to. Before mounting, check that the bumper, bull bar or roll bar can hold the weight and resist flex on rough ground. Vibration is the main threat to light brackets, so use the vibration isolator and tighten fasteners to the correct torque for the hardware in use.
Wiring deserves the same care. A fuse close to the battery and a relay between the battery and switch keep current away from the switch and reduce voltage drop at the light. Choose a switch rated for the load and keep wire routing away from heat and moving parts. Combo patterns spread light near and far, so aim the light low enough to show the trail without blinding oncoming drivers.
