Overview
The PIAA H8 G3 LED bulb, part number 26-17408, is a pair of white 6200K LED replacement bulbs with an H8 base. It is a direct-fit replacement for the factory bulb and fits the 2015–2016 Audi Q3 in Premium Plus, Prestige, Quattro Premium Plus and Quattro Prestige trims.
The G3 design uses CREE XP-L LED chips with up to 50% more light output than earlier G3 bulbs, and a wider viewing angle that fills the housing for a sharp beam with no dead spots. The thinned main column places the chips closer to where a halogen filament sits, which helps the bulb use the factory reflector. The bulbs are built to strict Japanese tolerances and carry a 5-year warranty. Because they run larger than stock, check clearance under the housing, and note the dust cover may not be usable on some models.

Fitting larger LED bulbs
A bulb that runs larger than stock needs room behind the housing for its body and driver. Before final assembly, set the bulb in place without fully closing the lamp, and check that it clears the reflector, the wiring and any cover. A tight fit can press on the connector or the base over time, so leave a little space around the body.
Dust covers designed for a halogen bulb may not seat over an LED, and forcing one can crack the cover or push the bulb out of position. Look at the housing seal once the lamp is back together, and make sure moisture cannot reach the connector. Keep the original bulb in its packaging in case you need to return the pair.

Vehicle fitment
It fits the 2015–2016 Audi Q3 in Premium Plus, Prestige, Quattro Premium Plus and Quattro Prestige trims. Coverage is limited to those model years and trims.
Later Q3 model years and other Audi models fall outside this bulb’s fit. Check your vehicle’s year, model and trim against the trims above before buying.
Installation notes
The bulbs use OE-style connectors, so they plug into the factory harness without wire splicing. Confirm clearance around the housing and cover before fitting, since the bulbs run larger than stock. Because the bulbs are not FMVSS108 or CMVSS108 compliant, check local road-use rules before installing them on a vehicle driven on public roads.
