Overview
The EBC Brakes GD7401 is a pair of front 3GD Series sport slotted rotors for the 2001–2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, the 2001–2010 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, the GMC Sierra 3500 (2001–2006) and the GMC Sierra 3500 HD (2007–2010).
Sustained braking in a heavy truck raises temperatures, and EBC’s wide slots are intended to vent the hot gases, draw in cooler air and keep dust and debris off the braking surface. EBC says this prolongs pad life, helps prevent fade and avoids the cracking common in cross-drilled rotors.
