Soft roll-up cover care
A soft roll-up tonneau keeps the bed dry and out of sight, but it is only as good as its tension and fit. Check the clamps and the edge of the cover after the first few drives, since a loose edge can flap at speed and wear the fabric. Roll the cover neatly and keep it square so it rolls evenly next time.
Keep the rails and track free of sand and grit, because abrasive material works into the seams and wears the fabric. Wash the cover with a gentle detergent and water, then allow it to dry before rolling it up, which prevents mildew. Remove heavy cargo before rolling the cover, and check the seams for stitching that has started to loosen. Because this cover has no rack or toolbox compatibility, plan bed storage around the open bed space.
