The Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Rear Seat Cover in olive drab (part number 5660231) is an adjustable rear seat cover with five storage pouches for off-road gear. It is made from 600 denier polyester with a PVC liner and is fastened with a Molle/Pals restraint system.
It fits the 2004–2006 Jeep Wrangler (LJ) Unlimited, the 1997–2006 Wrangler (TJ) and the 1987–1995 Wrangler (YJ). The cover is completely adjustable and UV stable, and it is available in Black, Coyote Tan and Olive Drab.

Packing and using the pouches
Pouches on a rear seat cover are easiest to use when the heavier gear goes low and near the seat base, where it sits steadier on rough roads. Lighter items such as first aid gear and tools fit the upper pouches. Keep sharp or pointed tools wrapped so they do not wear the liner.
The Molle/Pals system relies on the straps and attachment points staying tight. Check them before each trip and after rough terrain, since loose straps let the pouches shift and rub against the seat. Olive drab polyester wears well, but dragging gear over the pouches can scuff the surface.
Because the cover is not waterproof, keep wet gear in a sealed bag and wipe the pouches dry after a wet trip. Fully close the zippers and snaps before driving so contents do not work loose.
