Overview
The Smittybilt 30 to 32 inch spare tire cover in spice denim is a cover for spares 30 to 32 inches in diameter. Spice is the color, and denim is the material. The cover protects the spare from UV rays and road grime.
To use the cover, insert the spare and tighten the drawstring until the fit is snug. The spice color is the finish on this version.
Key features
- Fits 30 to 32 inch spares
- Spice color
- Denim material
- UV and road grime protection
- Drawstring closure
Choosing a spare cover color
Color on a spare cover changes how the cover handles heat and how easily it shows dirt. Darker shades absorb more sun, while lighter shades can look cleaner between trips but show mud and dust more quickly. Neither choice changes how the cover protects the spare, so pick the shade that suits how the vehicle is used and how often it gets dirty.
Denim in a warm tone such as spice fits well with a truck that sees everyday road use and light trail work. The cover still needs a snug fit, a closed drawstring, and a periodic brush-down to keep the weave clear of grit. Before buying, compare the color against any other soft goods you already own so the setup looks consistent.
- Consider how much sun the spare gets
- Brush dirt off the cover after trail use
- Match the cover color to other gear if that matters to you
