The Rugged Ridge 11250.05 Roll Bar Trail Tube Bag is a soft-side storage bag of heavy canvas that mounts to a Jeep roll cage. It is meant for carrying recovery gear, spare parts, camping gear and clothing on a wheeling trip. It is a direct fit for a range of Jeep models from the 1955-1958 Willys CJ-3 through the 2007-2018 Wrangler JK.
Rugged nylon straps keep the bag in place on rough trails. It is designed for easy installation and removal, and it works with both hard tops and soft tops. It includes individual storage compartments.

Loading a trail tube bag
A canvas trail tube bag suits gear that can handle a bit of dirt and bumping, such as spare parts, tools, camping items and extra clothing. Pack the heaviest items low and near the cage bars, and keep fragile things in the middle so they do not get crushed when the bag shifts over ruts.
Canvas absorbs water and gets heavier when wet, so pack a plastic bag inside for anything that must stay dry. After wet trips, let the canvas dry completely before storing it to prevent mildew. Check the rugged nylon straps for fraying, since rubbing against the cage can wear them down over time.
Oversized zippers are easier to operate with gloves on, but grit can still build up in the tracks. Close them fully before crossing water or mud, and clean the teeth with a stiff brush when they start to stick.
