Grip and roll bar fit
Roll bar handles get used more often than most people expect, since passengers reach for them at every bump and climb. A soft foam grip is easier on the hand over long runs, while nylon webbing gives the strap body its strength. Roll bar diameter and padding decide how the handle seats, so measure before buying.
Foam grips wear with sun exposure and sand, so inspect them after trail use. Look for splits, compression, or peeling where the foam meets the webbing. Keep the mounting strap clean and check the fasteners on the roll bar, since a loose handle changes the grip position. Replace worn parts in pairs so both handles feel the same.
- Inspect foam grips after sand or sun exposure
- Measure roll bar diameter before ordering
- Replace worn handles in matching pairs
