Velcro attachment care
Heavy-duty Velcro holds the skins over the frame, so the attachment strips do most of the work. Over time the hooks collect lint and grit that reduces grip, and the edges can lift if the fabric stretches. Checking the attachment strips is one of the simplest ways to keep the doors tidy.
Clean the hook side with a stiff brush or a pair of tweezers to pull out lint, then press the strips back in place. If a section no longer holds after cleaning, replace that strip rather than adding tape, which can hide a worn area. Dry the Velcro fully after washing to prevent mildew.
