Overview
The 51780-01 is a front pair of upper soft doors for Bestop Supertop and Sunrider tops, and it works only with steel half doors. The upper door is the fabric and frame section above the half door. It cannot be used with factory soft top hardware, so it is part of a Bestop top system rather than a factory replacement.
The fitment covers the 1988–1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ). The front pair is sold together and is finished in black vinyl.

Fitting a soft top upper door
Upper soft doors sit above the half door and make up the fabric part of the door opening. On an older Wrangler, the fabric and frame take weather and sun more than most parts, so the stitching and vinyl can crack or fade. Inspect the seams, frame corners and zip-style closures each season, and replace the fabric before it starts letting water or wind through the opening.
Because the upper door is part of a top system, check the whole assembly before fitting. The half doors, top bows and tie-down points all affect how the upper door sits and seals. A loose frame or misaligned corner can leave gaps, so test the fit with the top in place before tightening any hardware. Clean vinyl with mild soap and water and let it dry fully before storing.
