Super Duty trucks on the road
Super Duty trucks have tall doors, large side glass and a high cab, so wind and rain can reach the window opening from several angles. A side visor sits at the top of the glass and redirects air as it passes the door, which helps the cab stay comfortable when the window is partly open. Its effect is most noticeable at highway speed, when airflow around the door is most active.
Because a tape bond is the only attachment, the surface and the installation technique matter a great deal. Clean the window channel and the seal area thoroughly, and press the visor firmly along its full length. Heavy-duty trucks often work in dusty, wet or rough conditions, so inspect the bond regularly. Check the front edge first, since that is where wind and road debris usually hit.
